This is Mike Moynihan's favorite ride...the Boeing 707 that brought him home from Vietnam.
This photo was shot through the window at Saigon airport. Back in the day, Mike had served a couple tours in 'Nam, was wounded several times (three Purple Hearts), and endured things that I would not wish upon any man. This aircraft brought him home where he embarked on a very successful career in the car business that culimated in a couple of Plant Manager roles at tier 1 suppliers.
I was proud to bring him on board with NEA after he retired from operations management to be our elder stateman and Industrial Operations expert. He is a gentleman and my friend...and this is the best ride he ever had.
